We’ve Raised $27M to Automate the Backbone of Global Logistics

We’re excited to announce our $27 million Series B, led by General Catalyst, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Activant Capital, Vicus Ventures, BoxGroup, and Bessemer Venture Partners. This new round gives us the fuel to grow our team and double down on our mission: increasing the productivity of the global supply chain.

Why raise again so soon?

Just seven months ago, we raised our $21M Series A to build software that completes manual logistics workflows. Our early customers immediately saw the value and then they surprised us: They surfaced dozens of new use cases we hadn’t even considered. We realized the opportunity was bigger than we thought: $1T of logistics spend globally goes to administrative back office work. To put that into perspective, that’s more than 3x the size of the entire market for SaaS.

Marc, Vedant, Hemant, and General Catalyst were the perfect partners. Their early investment in Samsara gives them a deep understanding of what it takes to win in logistics. They also shared our conviction that the most valuable AI deployments will be made through solving industry-specific challenges.

How we got started

Growing up, my grandfather ran a food distribution business. The days were long and exhausting, often far away from home. The business took a toll on him, but he prioritized on-time deliveries because thousands of families relied on him to put food on the shelves and on their tables.

In the early days of Pallet, I visited a trucking company. The owner, Riyo, showed me a stack of over 100 paper work orders he had to key into a computer. It was 6PM on a Saturday and he was missing the NFL playoffs. This wasn’t a one-off. He did this for 6 hours every single weekend. This is what it took to make sure thousands of people received their deliveries.

That’s when it hit me that we could reshape a part of the economy that impacted everyone.

Where we’re going

Today 10% of logistics spend goes towards administrative work, typing in work orders, tracking shipments, and generating quotes. A single shipment involves numerous parties, including shippers, carriers, drivers, warehouses, and brokers, who all need to coordinate, while working in different ways using different systems. Over the next 10 years, Pallet’s AI workforce, CoPallet, aims to automate all logistics administration and coordination.

CoPallet automates any repetitive logistics workflow

CoPallet executes high-volume logistics workflows autonomously in the background with human-level reliability. AI workers trained on logistics are capable of completing complex work that logistics coordinators would traditionally do. For example, when deployed at a freight forwarder, CoPallet reads incoming shipping instructions, tenders loads across modes—ocean, rail, and final mile—and manages handoffs between carriers, drayage providers, and warehouses. It updates TMS, carrier portals, and customer systems in real time, keeping every party aligned.

What’s the impact of automating logistics administration? When you eliminate friction, logistics operators unlock flexibility and productivity. CoPallet is like having hundreds of virtual logistics coordinators on staff for a fraction of the cost. Operators like Riyo can focus on what drives the business forward, building relationships with customers and keeping their freight moving.

This wasn’t a story about hype, it was a story about math. Customers ran the numbers. A midsized carrier was able to reallocate 25 employees who were doing repetitive order entry, saving millions.

What it takes to win

Solving this problem isn’t easy. The challenges are technically complex and require industry context. It takes an extraordinary team to build a generational company, and we’re proud to have one. One third of our team comes from the logistics companies like Worldwide Express, CEVA, and Uber Freight. Our team also consists of former YC-backed founders and top performers at companies including Meta, Scale AI, and Rippling.

Our culture celebrates teammates who are energized by action, hardwired to seek answers, and want to maximize career growth. We’re looking for technologists and customer-focused builders who want to reinvent the supply chain. If any of these things sound like you, reach out to talent@pallet.com.
